This is our 2ND year opting to stay home vs. driving the 6 hours to go home for thanksgiving. The best part was our dear friends the Gibson's - Ted, Connie, Mia, & Muriel, came to visit.
We had a Turkey that we brined with herbs, mash potatoes & gravy(my step dad would have approved of), green bean casserole, sweet potatoes souffle(grandma's recipe) stuffing homemade of course, bread, and an attempt at pecan pie and I messed it up. We all was stuffed and ready to take each other on at WII. Brendan was really beating them up on the boxing till the men went off and did a little training.
I went black friday shopping with Connie and it was the best. Yes busy but she had it down and I knew where to drive. The guys took the kids swimming. It was a good time, and was so nice having them down. So much to do and so little time here is Ft. Worth....
This is Ted with Mia beside him holding Wasabi and Muriel on the back of couch.
This is Muriel bring her game face on!
This is Mia ready to go.
Batters up Brendan ready to kick butt in baseball.
